Concerts

The church has a long-standing tradition as an ideal venue for classical music concerts, particularly of chamber music. Enquiries about use of the church and involvement in the concerts it promotes are welcome.

2012 concerts

Saturday 4th February 2012, 7.30pm 
Celebrating Gabrieli
The Temenos Chamber Choir and the English Cornett and Sackbut Ensemble celebrate the 400th anniversary of the death of Giovanni Gabrieli, the famous composer and organist at St Mark's in Venice. The programme includes the dramatic fifteen-part motet 'In Ecclesiis', More details.

Sunday 18th March, 7.30pm 
From Venice to Dresden: Gabrieli and Schutz
The Cambridge Taverner Choir, directed by Owen Rees, are joined by the Baroque instrumental group Il Musici della Contessa, for a second celebratory concert.
Tickets: £12.00 on the door. Discounts available for early booking.

Greg Tassell (tenor) sings Gerald Finzi's song cycle 'Dies Natalis' with string orchestra, and English songs accompanied by Anthony Zerpa-Falcon
